As a Data Scientist, you’ll:

• Build, maintain and automate statistical models while also developing machine learning solutions.
• Use data-driven reasoning to provide informed advice and make optimal decisions.
• Conduct comprehensive research to better understand current and potential customers.
• Collaborate with marketers, product owners and other stakeholders to design and assess research and experiments.
• Advise management and stakeholders on analysis results and strategic recommendations.

You’d describe yourself as follows:

• Holder of a master's degree in econometrics, mathematics, business analytics or a related field with 3+ years working as a Data Scientist.
• Extensively experienced in building and maintaining statistical models and machine learning algorithms using SQL and Python.
• Knowledgeable about AWS and tools like SageMaker and Docker, and familiar with or eager to learn about MLOps processes.
• A skilled communicator and collaborator, adept at working in cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, with a penchant for innovation and strategic, creative thinking.

About the department:

The Postcode Lottery Group is building an International Analytics Hub to provide our lotteries with the right models, tools, tech and best practices to help realise our growth ambitions. In the hub you’ll work with the business to identify value-adding business cases for advanced statistical analytics. You’ll work on exciting and challenging BI, data and AI projects that will create real impact for the lotteries and our beneficiary organisations.  

• A monthly salary between € 4.800,- and € 6.500,- a variable year-end bonus, an excellent pension scheme, and 28 days’ holiday a year based on a 40-hour week and flexible working hours.
